Interested in a paid 2-weeks summer Micro-Internship at LaGuardia CC

  • During this experience you will get introduced to Molecular Modeling and protein structures: 

    • Hands on experience with protein visualization tools

    • Interact with City Tech and LaGuardia faculty

    • Peer-mentorship by IMMERSE students

    • Tour of City Tech in Brooklyn to hear about transfer opportunities to the BIB Bachelor's program

    • Tour of Schrödinger Head Quarters in Manhattan to hear from a leading Biotech company

Requirements:

  • For current LaGuardia Community College Student

    • Minimum of 2.7 cumulative GPA

    • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident

    • Enrolled in or completed any SCC, SCB, or MAT courses

  • For current Associate Degree Students at City Tech

    • Minimum of 2.7 cumulative GPA

    • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident

    • Enrolled in or completed any of the following courses: BIO 1101, CHEM 1110

Provide with your application:

  • a Resume

  • a 1-page Personal Statement explaining your interest in the micro-internship

FELLOWSHIP

Requirements:

  • City Tech student enrolled or recently graduated from the Biomedical Informatics Bachelor's program or the Applied Chemistry Bachelor's program

  • Enrolled or completed BIO 4350

  • Minimum of 2.7 cumulative GPA
